Whilst Nu-Wav Drapery Creations was created in 2005, our story started decades earlier.
Founder and Managing Director of Nu-Wav Drapery Creations, Ms. Debra London, tells people that her journey in the drapery business is really a love-story. As far back as she can remember, even as a child in primary school, she loved fabric and style.
Debra remembers, very vividly, playing dress up with her dolls and making outfits for them. They actually had changes of clothes in different designs and were always outfitted in the latest style.
Debra recalls how her mind raced in all different directions with images of designs she could produce and like many other little girls, she loved playing dress up, matching colours and textures and spending time creating elaborate ensembles in her imagination.
